Tuesday, May 13 Sidney, BC (suburb of Victoria)

We were picked up this morning by the rental car young man and taken to the office to rent an econ-o-box.  Map in hand we set off for Costco.  Fred kind of remembers the way since we do this every year.  We purchased all our meat and fish for the trip.  We hope to supplement this with fresh crab and fish along the way.  I spent the rest of the day vacuum packing the food for the freezer.  I don't dare turn my back on Merlin.  Last year I left a box on the floor and he was into the raw ground beef. 

After all our hard work we treated ourselves to halibut fish & chips from Hylands.  We are convinced they are the best in British Columbia.
