Sunday, May 4 Sutherlin, OR to Anacortes, WA 450 miles

While yesterday was all sun and blue skies today was lots of rain and gray skies.  We are glad to be traveling on a Sunday without commute traffic passing through Seattle.  Finally arrived in Anacortes.
We were starving so we immediately headed to our favorite Mexican place, El Jinete.  We ordered our favorite dish here, Mexican pizza.  It is basically layered flat taco shell, re-fried beans, chicken, cheese, salsa and sour cream.  Yum.  We then checked into our motel, Islands Inn.  http://www.islandsinn.com/  We stay here often because the rates are low, they are dog friendly and the breakfast is included.  We may find a new place for the fall.  The accommodations are outdated, dingy and sparse.

The room has a nice fireplace but only a hard backed chair to sit on.
We drove past the boat yard and Emerald Star is on the hard washed and waxed.  She looks beautiful.  We will start to work on the boat tomorrow.
